Synopsis
Han Fei is a struggling comedy actor whose career has collapsed when he gets access to the immersive virtual-reality game Perfect Life. The game is advertised as relaxing and therapeutic, but the version Han Fei enters is anything but peaceful. In the apartment complex known as Happiness Community, his neighbors include killers, ghosts, and people whose identities correspond to victims of real murder cases. To survive each night, Han Fei has to complete dangerous missions, understand the residents around him, and investigate why the game's horrors overlap with crimes in the real world. What starts as an impossible VR experience gradually becomes a pursuit of justice for people who can no longer speak for themselves.
My Healing Game is a psychological horror mystery disguised as a VR-game story. Its tension comes from the fact that Perfect Life does not stay safely separated from reality: clues found in the game point toward real crimes, while the NPCs behave more like trapped victims than scripted characters. Han Fei survives through observation, acting, nerve, and empathy rather than simple power scaling, giving the series a distinctive mix of supernatural suspense, murder investigation, digital horror, and dark humor.

What it feels like
The title deliberately weaponizes the idea of a 'healing game.' Han Fei enters Perfect Life expecting escapism, but the apartments, neighbors, and missions he encounters are tied to real murders and victims. That lets the story move back and forth between psychological horror inside the game and investigation in reality, while Han Fei's acting skill, empathy, and willingness to help the dead become as important as raw survival.
