Synopsis
In a modern world where the traditions and powers of Murim have survived into the present, Taeyeon Kang is born with martial abilities and enrolls at Murim Police University, a special school for people with supernatural martial power who want to uphold the law. Taeyeon has another reason for being there: he is searching for the truth behind his father's disappearance and seeking protection from the Evil Murim Faction, which is after his family's secret martial-arts manual. At the same time, the legendary Ghost King returns after years of mysterious absence, throwing the Murim world back into turmoil.
The series blends modern campus life with a Murim society that never disappeared. Taeyeon's investigation into his father, the danger surrounding his family's secret techniques and the return of the masked Ghost King create overlapping mysteries, while Murim Police University provides a modern institutional setting for traditional martial conflicts.

What it feels like
The strongest discovery signals are modern Murim, martial-arts police training, family mystery and the Ghost King's return. Action is central, while mystery and faction politics give the completed series additional structure beyond straightforward combat.
