Synopsis
Ohjin is a low-level Awakened surviving in a world threatened by monsters, constellations and supernatural disasters. His life changes when a silver-haired goddess named Vega appears before him and declares that he is the Heaven-Defying Star, the regressor destined to save a world headed toward destruction. There is only one problem: Ohjin has never regressed. The true regressor dies before Vega can properly confirm what happened, leaving Ohjin in possession of a power and identity that were never meant to be his. Rather than confess the truth, he decides to maintain the misunderstanding and use his new position to climb from obscurity while preparing for the catastrophe he now knows is coming.
I'm Not a Regressor plays with the familiar regression formula by giving the second-chance role to the wrong person. Ohjin survives by bluffing, adapting and exploiting what others believe about him, while Vega treats him as the chosen returnee capable of changing fate. The result mixes constellation fantasy, action, deception and progression with a protagonist whose greatest advantage begins as a lie rather than a genuine memory of the future.

What it feels like
The strongest StoryKai positioning is the false-regressor hook. The series should be framed around Ohjin maintaining a heroic identity that began as a misunderstanding, not as a conventional regression story.
