Synopsis
A devoted player of Yo-Ma Great War 3 is reincarnated as Evan D. Sherden, a handsome noble extra famous for one thing: dying. In the game, Evan has almost no heroic importance, yet the developers gave him an absurd number of unique death scenes. Now living as that character, Evan refuses to accept the script. He uses everything he remembers about the game to train long before the main scenario begins, avoid known death flags, recruit talented allies, prepare for dangerous dungeons, and change the futures of characters whose tragedies he already knows. The more he succeeds, however, the further the world diverges from the game he memorized—and the harder it becomes to predict what can kill him next.
Never Die Extra is a reincarnation game-fantasy built around a protagonist trying to outprepare his own scripted deaths. Evan begins as an expendable noble extra, but deep knowledge of Yo-Ma Great War 3 lets him identify hidden mechanics, future threats, valuable companions, and training methods that no ordinary child should know. The appeal comes from seeing survival paranoia evolve into overwhelming competence while every major change makes his old walkthrough knowledge less reliable.

What it feels like
The premise is survival through obsessive preparation. Evan remembers that his game counterpart dies again and again, so he treats every known event, dungeon, character route, and hidden mechanic as a possible death flag. His progression comes from turning player knowledge into training plans, alliances, and contingency strategies until the supposedly disposable extra becomes one of the most influential people in the world he was never meant to survive.
