Synopsis
Lee Changsun was once a human who rose to godhood and became feared as the Divine Twilight. After clashing with other deities, he is put on trial, stripped of his divinity and condemned to the underworld. Thanatos, its ruler, offers him a way out: return to Earth as the player he used to be and help seal the beings attempting to invade from beyond. Changsun accepts, but he is not working solely for Thanatos. The gods who drove him into the abyss have given him a reason to fight back. Now starting over with a mortal identity, he has to secure equipment, recover strength and move through a world of players and dungeons while higher powers watch his every move.
Instead of sending an ordinary hunter toward godhood, this series begins with a fallen god forced to rebuild from the ground up. Changsun knows how cruel the divine hierarchy can be, but his new body gives him neither his old authority nor his former strength. His bargain with Thanatos keeps the action focused on an immediate threat to Earth, while the unresolved grudge against the gods gives each new ability and alliance a sharper purpose. Expect hostile deities, player-system progression and a protagonist who treats a second chance as an opportunity to settle unfinished business.

What it feels like
Changsun is not an innocent newcomer who learns that the gods are dangerous: he is a former deity who has already seen their politics turn lethal. The tension comes from the mismatch between that knowledge and the limited power he can presently wield. Thanatos’s mission creates a clear external objective; revenge against the powers that condemned him supplies the personal stakes.
