Synopsis
Embildon, the 113th Demon King and the first ruler to unite the demon realm, is summoned by Lagier Lou Jerlayla Rodwill, the spoiled and deeply unpopular crown prince of the Jerlayla Kingdom. The summoning goes wrong and Lagier dies, forcing Embildon to inhabit the prince's body under the terms of the contract. He cannot simply return to his own realm: before he can leave, he must fulfill Lagier's final wishes—to become stronger than anyone else and to make Jerlayla powerful enough to dominate the world. Now living as Prince Lagier, Embildon begins by rebuilding the body and reputation he inherited, gathering old demon companions, confronting angels and supernatural beings, and reshaping a kingdom whose future has suddenly been placed in the hands of a Demon King.
The Book of Lagier is a Korean fantasy manhwa about an all-powerful Demon King forced into the body of a dead human prince. Instead of returning home immediately, Embildon must carry out the prince's unresolved contractual wishes, which pulls him into royal politics, physical transformation, magical conflict, and long-term kingdom building. The story combines body possession, comedy, demons and angels, noble society, overpowered magic, and a protagonist whose main challenge is not becoming strong, but using overwhelming power while living under someone else's identity and obligations.

The series mixes comedy with power fantasy by letting an ancient ruler approach human problems with absolute
