Masa is a second-year student at a mediocre art college who keeps drawing even though he no longer knows why. His days feel stagnant until Aoi, a mysterious first-year girl, sees his sketchbook and unexpectedly asks him to make her his disciple. Her strange confidence, hidden past and almost witch-like presence unsettle Masa, but they also force him to confront the frustration he has been avoiding. As exhibitions, rivalry, artistic failure and Aoi's secrets begin to pile up, Masa has to decide whether he can find a reason to keep painting—and whether the girl who disrupted his routine is becoming more important to him than he expected.
