Synopsis
Neo-Verona was once ruled by the Capulet family until Lord Montague led a violent coup and wiped them out. Fourteen years later, Juliet Capulet lives in hiding as the last surviving member of her house and secretly fights oppression under the masked identity of the Red Whirlwind. Romeo Montague, heir to the ruling family, is disturbed by his father's cruelty. When Romeo and Juliet meet, they fall in love without initially knowing the full weight of each other's identities. Their relationship becomes inseparable from the struggle over Neo-Verona itself.
Romeo x Juliet transforms Shakespeare's tragedy into a fantasy shoujo adventure set in the floating city of Neo-Verona.
