Synopsis
Lee Hyun-ho is an ordinary job seeker in modern Korea who goes to sleep and wakes up in the body of Grand Prince Jinseong during the Joseon dynasty. At first, life as royalty looks like an unexpected upgrade, until he realizes that his older brother is Yeonsangun, the future king remembered as one of Joseon's most infamous tyrants. With only imperfect historical knowledge and no desire to die in a royal purge, Hyun-ho decides to intervene early, protect the people around him, and try to keep his brother from becoming the ruler history recorded.
Rather than treating reincarnation as a shortcut to overwhelming strength, this story uses a modern outsider's viewpoint to turn Joseon court politics into a mix of historical drama, family comedy, and survival strategy. Hyun-ho's goal is personal and political at once: live comfortably as Grand Prince Jinseong while preventing Yeonsangun's reign from collapsing into tyranny.

What it feels like
The series works less as a power fantasy than as a historical intervention comedy-drama. Hyun-ho has no perfect knowledge of Joseon history, so surviving court life depends on improvisation, family relationships, and trying to steer Yeonsangun away from the path history remembers.
