Synopsis

Lee Cheol is the illegitimate son of the mighty Lee martial clan, one of South Korea’s most formidable families. Treated as an outsider and driven from the family, he survives by keeping out of sight—until the clan’s intrigues catch up with him and he is killed. Given a second chance through regression, Cheol refuses to repeat that ending. His unusual ability lets him absorb the memories held in weapons, turning blades into sources of experience as he trains to fight on equal terms with people who once looked down on him. The struggle reaches beyond a single grudge: inheritance battles inside the Lee clan, rival factions, monsters, and dangerous territories all threaten the life he is trying to reclaim.

Editorial note

What makes Lee Cheol's comeback distinctive is the way he improves. He does not simply collect stronger swords; he draws experience from the weapons themselves. The result is a regression action story where every new weapon can change how he fights, while a powerful family’s succession struggle keeps pressure on his victories. It suits readers who like skill-based progression, tense clan politics, and a protagonist trying to protect people rather than merely settle an old score.

The title promises weapon-devouring, but the important mechanic is absorbing weapons’ memories. Lee Cheol’s second life is driven by training, family politics, and survival; it should not be mistaken for a conventional dungeon-loot series.
