Synopsis
Vera survives by trampling over others, making ruthless bargains and hiding in the darkest corners of a world threatened by the Demon King. When the war finally ends, the consequences of that life catch up with him and a curse leaves him waiting for death alone. Then he meets Renee, the blind saint everyone believes is already dead. Scarred and powerless-looking, she nevertheless treats Vera with extraordinary kindness and gives him a reason to live differently. When Renee eventually dies, Vera is unable to save her. He is then sent back to the past and swears that in this life he will find her first, protect her, and repay the salvation she once gave him. But when Renee's holy stigma awakens, churches, empires, kingdoms, dragonians and servants of the night all begin moving around the saint whose future can change the continent.
The Regressor and the Blind Saint is a redemption-driven regression romance in which the second chance is motivated by gratitude rather than personal revenge. Vera remembers himself as a selfish survivor, while Renee is the one person who treated him with compassion at the end of his first life. His regression turns that memory into a vow: become stronger, find her sooner and prevent the death he once failed to stop. The story combines knightly fantasy, religious politics, saint mythology and slow-burn devotion, with Vera's emotional transformation carrying as much weight as his combat growth.

What it feels like
The strongest StoryKai positioning is 'regression for redemption through devotion.' Vera's promise to Renee should stay central: the series is not merely about changing the future, but about a man who finally chooses to live for someone else.
